The Martin Twins

Meet Lila...
and Joey.

Lila & Joey couldn't be any sweeter if they tried; see what I mean?!

They were absolutely perfect for the entire hour and a half shoot- do you know how amazing that is for 3 month olds?! They were so darn relaxed and sweet and smiley. Matt and I had so much fun with these two and their grandma. Mom took her other two kids and left to do some errands while we did all of these- what a fun surprise to show her what we got!

As we were just getting packed up the twins started to get a bit fussy, so Grandma and I each took a baby, the next thing you know they are both sound asleep... so what naturally ran through my mind? MORE PICTURES! We were able to get these next ones just before we left, I love them!

Twin shoots can be quite the challenge, but I think they are turning out to be some of my favs, and super rewarding too!

The Smiths!

Lynn got in touch with us JUST in time to book our very last opening before we decided to take a few weeks off before our baby girl is born. I'm so glad that they eeked in just in time to get some fun family pictures taken for their yearly Christmas card.

They had an awesome idea of having their puppy, Mocha, in a few family pictures, I loved it! The best part- they put a scarf on him, how cute is that?!

I love when siblings are totally willing to cuddle in close for me to get a few "sweet" pictures- thanks guys!

The last few pictures we dashed outside in the cold, rainy mist to get a few pictures down by these awesome rocks. I'm so glad you guys were willing to freeze a bit for these pictures, I love the browns and rocks- so pretty!

Thanks for braving the weather Smith family, you guys were super fun to hang out with for the afternoon!

9 times the fun!

Could this family be any cuter?!! PLUS, they were a blast to hang out with, their outfits rocked, and they laughed continuously- what more could we ask for?!

We were contacted earlier this fall by Michele to take some family pictures. We were super excited because we had heard great things about this family, and then we found out that there are 7 kids in the family, and we got a little panicked. =) We have never taken family pictures with such a large immediate family. But we had ABSOLUTELY nothing to worry about- the entire family was amazing! They were so kind to us and each other and so much fun to work with too!

The kids were so darn fun and I can't believe how smoothly everything went!

Thanks for such an awesome morning, we can't wait to take all 9 of you on again. =)

The Griffin Family!

We met Missy a few months ago while getting our "bank stuff" figured out for our new house. A few months after we met we got an email from her asking us to do family pictures- we were thrilled!

Most may now know but I was once a red head (for my first few years of life I'm told) so when we showed up and saw all of these red headed cuties I was in love!

Dad was kind enough to skip watching the Iowa football game in order to do these pictures and I think he made his wife a happy lady because she said they hadn't had family pictures in quite some time. I think these new family pictures will get a smile out of her!

You can't have a fall photo session that doesn't end with a little leaf throwing!

Thanks for a great afternoon together guys!

Fall family fun!

You may remember a few of the kids in this family. The two oldest girls got to choose where to have their own pictures taken. One of the girls chose to have her pictures with a horse, and the other chose to have her photos taken in the fall with the leaves.

After we did Alex's pictures we rounded up the family and did some fall family pictures. We had a great time with the whole family! How cute is this family?!

We had a bit of a challenge while working with the youngest daughter who didn't think too much of our tricks to get a smile out of her, but we were able to get a few good laughs out of her and some pretty dang cute kids and family pictures if I do say so myself. =)

Alex in the fall!

You might remember Corinne's session from earlier this fall. Well meet Alex, Corinne's older sister. She chose to have her pictures done later in the fall with the leaves. We lucked out and had a really beautiful day for her pictures and I can say that I had the hardest time trying to pick just a few pictures to share on here.

Alex you are so beautiful!

Her smile was so real in every picture, I love it!

Just like her little sister, she was so easy to work with and so sweet, which I think is obvious in these pictures.

Alex, thanks for being so much fun- have a fabulous rest of the school year!

Clark Family

Oh the Clark's... we love these guys. This is the third time that we've been lucky enough to photograph them. We did their pictures last fall here, and their extended family this summer here. So to photograph these two cuties again was a blast!
Seriously- how cute are these headbands?! Great job with outfits Jenni!

So pretty- and such beautiful fall weather.

And the winner that made it into a TWENTY BY THIRTY INCH CANVAS....

LOVE IT! (And can't wait to see it up in your house guys!)

Thanks for another fun evening together!

Lowrie Family

Who would have thought that there would be a park with the exact same name in two nearby towns? =) Yeah, we didn't think of it either, and almost ended up in different towns at completely different parks for this family's pictures. Luckily a last minute email cleared up the confusion, and we were able to meet this awesome family and take some great pictures!

Once again, can I say how much I love when couples ask to have a few pictures taken of them alone?! I think it's so awesome to have a few updated "couple" pictures.

And who doesn't love a picture of their child that's not in front of a plain gray screen?!

A little mom sandwich- too cute!

Isaiah- one of our favorite little boys!

I can't believe that we just did Isaiah's 9 month pictures, and soon he'll be one year old!!! We have had the pleasure of doing Isaiah's first pictures ever- in his mom's belly! And his newborn pictures, and 3, 6, and now 9 month pictures too! We just can't seem to get enough of this little cutie. This little boy has been SO EASY each and every time that we have taken his pictures, this session only took about 45 minutes because he does everything with the cutest smile. I'm hoping we can figure out how to get his one year old pictures in since our baby is due the same week as his first birthday... keeping our fingers crossed that we can figure it out, right Jackee? =)

Enjoy the little man's pictures!

Could he be any cuter in this hat?!
